Climate

The official view from Discover Tobago is ‘ a warm tropical climate tempered by trade winds. The average daytime temperature is 29°c (83°F), with maximums in the low to mid 30s. The early months of the year are dry and sunny, June to December is the wet season, but rain tends to fall in short sharp bursts, and most days have plenty of sunlight.’ We were there last August and probably had the best snorkeling and calmest seas of all our times there - so it’s wonderful even in much of the rainy season, though there can be wet periods of several days later on in the rainy season, especially around full moon/new moon time.
